I scheduled an appointment online through the LabCorp website for 3:30 for bloodwork. Due to a series of unexpected, traffic issues to the lab I was 7 minutes late. I left work early for this appointment. When I arrived, the attendant was not at the desk. I waited 5 minutes before someone showed up. There was no way to notify anyone I was there. When the attendant arrived 6 minutes later I explained I had an appointment at 3:30. He answered that the appointment had better not be for chemistry. I handed him the lab order and he advised the lab cannot do blood draws after 3:30. I advised that I had an appointment at 3:30 which was verified. He refused to do the draw. Common sense would dictate that if the office policy was no blood draw after 3:30 that they should not allow customers to schedule at 3:30 for blood draw as the draw would occur after 3:30 after in processing for the lab. LabCorp should work on their communication as a whole so that customers do not waste their valuable time for appointments that can’t occur due to office policies.

I had a very bad experience with your Leesburg branch. The employee abstained from the deadline in a bad manner called Doug, and I do not know in the general system. It was calculated that we entered the branch. Please take the necessary and hold this employee accountable. Dealing with customers
My experience was completely at different from the 1star reviews. I have had blood drawn here several times. I scheduled an appointment on line. Perhaps it was because I was there before, I knew exactly where to go. Even for a first visit, it is not hard to find. The address is in big numbers on the building. The room number is Suite 310, a clue that it is on the third floor. There is also a help desk web you enter the building. The phlebotomist is also the receptionist, which may be the only criticism I have for the operation. Lab Corp would do well to have a receptionist doing intake. Nevertheless, the process was quick and easy. I used the automated check-in kiosk. The phlebotomist was courteous, respectful, and efficient. I was 10 minutes early for a 1:15 appointment and was out the door by 1:25. The reception area is small, room enough for 3 people to socially distance. However, they offer you the option of leaving a cell phone number and waiting in your car or in the hall. There was sanitizer located in the waiting area and the rest room. Everyone was masked.
Worst. Experience. I arrived and completed the mobile check-in in my vehicle. I received notification that they were ready for me 15 minutes late. The lab is located on the 3rd level of a medical office building and not easy to locate. No signage for the lab in the lobby of the building besides the directory. The waiting room is small and not easy to socially-distance. I questioned the communal pen. The tech said that they were not provided hand sanitizer or any sanitizing wipes, besides the 1 inch alcohol wipes for the check-in screen. They did not check temperatures. Almost no protocol for avoiding COVID19 besides the tech was wearing a mask and a couple of signs. I questioned if the exam chair had been sanitized. The tech gave me a snarky response of how the previous patient was in the other room. The tech did nothing to make me feel safe or comfortable. I will not return to this location and recommend that you do not either.
