We came to an agreement price to rent our property... and not 4 minutes go by from the offer email that they told us that the \property was just booked\... when I called to ask if they had more availability/an explanation for this quick turn-around the receptionist hung up on me! Then turned the phone service directly to voicemail.... what on earth kind of practice is this? I know real estate agents aren't to be trusted but this far exceeds that stereotype.

We have stayed at Ocean Edge Leighton rental properties for the last few years. We were happy with them up until last summer. That summer we were in a very moldy unit, my family of four all suffered from congestion, we called Leighton to tell them about the mold and they were not very helpful. The claimed that they sent someone to clean the mold, but we knew that wasn't true as it was still there. After complaining again, they sent someone with a mold spray. By the time they treated the problem, we had already stayed there 6 nights. I complained about our stay at checkout and they didn't seem to care one bit. We will not rent through Leighton again.
