Excellent facility—the employees are fantastic! Always ready with a friendly greeting, and they try to get to know you—it gives it a small town feel. I love the classes and the way that the organization makes it easy during COVID to access the amenities within own comfort zone—I can use a spin bike outside the classroom at any time. Love it!! I was most impressed with how they handled the COVID situation. They communicated with us quickly and did not charge us. They allowed us to stop our membership without any repercussions and gave us time hacks within which to make decisions about staying or leaving for the time being. It was handled very professionally—I was amazed. Although I have had some trepidation with using Kid Zone, I am amazed with some of the staff who have gently taught me how to let my child go—it was very hard for me, a new mom. They also get to know you and your child. I do make sure I leave my child with the individuals I feel the safest with and take an active role in ensuring her safety. This is a great place to be a member. I am always telling people I meet about it—and will continue to.

Awesome staff. Affordable. Clean. Accessible. Lots of options. Has been a lifesaver to drop off my daughter and have a short break to exercise. I would highly recommend this gym!!

Overall seemed like a nice gym. Me and some buddies went to play basketball here and how I understand it now, is that you may only shoot a few baskets without playing actual games on the court due to health guidelines. When I signed in I was told no pickup games with others, which I took as keeping it limited to your own group. Upon getting upstairs to the court we were being told that we could not play any actual games. All of this is fine and a simple misunderstanding, but the manager that helped us with our refunds was very snarky and told us as we were walking out “ask questions next time it’ll save you a lot of time.” She came off as rude and very condescending through it all. Management could use a decent amount of work.

I love the Lenexa Rec Center. Admittedly, I have not used the facility due to the pandemic (trying to be cautious). However, beforehand, I liked to walk the track. There are many types of machines and classes that I look forward to using in the future.
