The first half was surprisingly more like a zoo with quite an array of non-aquatic creatures, then the 2nd (lower) half opens up to the aquarium. The smell was typical to that of creature abodes, but it was clean. The cost of encounters was a bit pricey but there were ample opportunities to pet creatures without the encounters. A great place for good photos and a good time. And, the Teacher Discount made it all the more worth it! I really loved seeing the interactions of the workers with their critters-- they genuinely love their jobs.

It was alright but more disappointing at the end. Alot of the enclosures seemed pretty small for some animals. They lack dirt/vegetation, some animals were walking on plain concrete. You can purchase tokens to interact with certain animals, and to buy food for them. Whatever tokens you don't use can be used at the gift shop. Some of the fish were over crowded. Turtles had small runways with little piles of hay. Some of the enclosures were to dark to see into. I think they need a bigger space/addition so you can really appreciate seeing and interacting with the animals. At times it felt like a pet store. The outside area was closed which sucked because we wanted to see the kangaroos. Probably wouldn't visit again.

An engaging and educational experience for the whole family. My kids loved learning about the many different species of animals. Edward spent a great deal of time teaching us about the animals in the different habitats. Very impressed.

Really great interactive things to do here. It's pretty expensive to buy the tickets ( if your not already a member) and then buy tokens to do the more extensive interactions. We chose to use our tokens to pet the ring tailed lemurs. It also is something nice to do in a rainy day.

Great location with specialized exhibits. I wish it wasnt covid 19 and we could have seen the open air part of exhibit. Great feature, you get food coupons for snacks or lunch as part of paid admission. Also lots of hands on or participation with habitat!
