I have a high regard for all you do! [My nephew utilized many of your services but is now (& happily has been for 3 years) cancer free]. So I happily saved things that were in good condition to donate. Unfortunately, I will not be doing this in the future. Here is a copy of the letter and explanation I sent to Charity Clothing Pick-Up: This is the LAST TIME I will donate to a charity you pick-up for! The last two times I donated to LLS & NFB the drivers stood on the porch going through everything only to take certain things. That left new pants with the tags still on them, a bedspread, some household items and two purses. I understand the need for less clutter & not needing to go through another person's crappy/dirty things - I volunteer at a non-profit that USED to do the same thing but stopped because so many of our donors got upset. Now I truly understand why - you think you are doing a good thing to help others by donating \gently loved\ things that are no longer essential to you but still are in good condition and are rejected. Well, some other charity will be happy.
