We hosted our company outing on the catamaran and it was a great experience from start to end. The crew and team made sure we were all taken care of and worked with us to make this trip happen. We brought in our own snacks and drinks. The game package was great for all ages. We have done a couple of outings and this one had the best feedback so far! Go for the catamaran, you won't regret it!
Three words could sum up my whole review: Best. Wedding. Ever. That is according to my guests and I would have to agree. All the way from the planning to the actual event, it was smooth sailing! Capt. Mike and his staff made sure we were well taken care of and everything was beyond my expectations. Gina was so patient with me as was everyone, because I had a ton of questions along the way. I opted to use a DJ and photographer of their choice and I'm so glad I did! It took a couple of things off my plate. Waivers are required of all guests so I sent these out in advance and asked everyone to bring them. I highly recommend doing this. I hung my own floral, and brought a few decorations and one table. The caterer (Jim Lee Events) also brought their own tables. The ceremony and reception were all on the boat and it all worked out perfect. I would recommend this venue for just about anything large or small. I had 44 guests.
Just sailed February 10, 2013 for the third time in past five months. It was an amazing experience as usual. The food was good. The crew is amazing. The catamaran is beautiful and Captain Mike is wonderful. They have a lot of special pricing for events, check it out and see what fits your budget. You can rent for a private event as well. As a travel agent I have used a lot of different services and Big D Cats is most accommodating. There are just not enough adjectives to describe it. If you haven't sailed with them yet..... well what are you waiting for? Tell them I sent ya..
