I was referred to Blue Pearl by our normal vet as my senior dog had suffered several seizures following a routine dental procedure. They were able to get us scheduled for a consult relatively quickly to see one of the three neurologists on staff. I was upset that they are not allowing owners in due to COVID restrictions but I shouldn't have been. Be prepared to wait in the parking lot for a while while COVID precautions are in place, but the service and time you get to speak with the doctor and supporting team was actually surprising. First, the techs who checked in my dog were very thorough and spent quite a while allowing me to run through my dog's history and his recent issues, as well as concerns and questions I had for the doctor.. The exam lasted quite a while and once completed the doctor called and spoke to me for about 30 minutes. He was very comforting and made recommendations, clearly explaining the pros and cons of each. I booked an MRI and an overnight stay for him following the procedure to monitor him for any further seizures. The team was in touch with me to provide updates at various points throughout the day and night, even sending me a photo once he was out of anesthesia, awake and situated in his crate. The doctor checked in with me that evening as well as a tech. They monitored him all night and I spoke with the doctor again for at least another 20 minutes in the morning prior to his release. The care is expensive, but I will say that the level of service and care I felt my pet (and I) deserved was provided without a doubt. Everyone was fantastic and I felt completely at ease after my initial consultation and although I was anxious during the MRI and his subsequent overnight stay, I knew that he was, without a doubt, in the best hands possible. The compassion, attention to detail and customer service Blue Pearl Lewisville provided was more than 5 star-worthy!

My dog's trusted vet referred me to BluePearl ER in Lewisville when my dog came down with a case of continuous vomiting, not eating and black stool. As an overly cautious pet parent I won't bring my dog to just anyone let alone stay overnight for observation. I was very impressed with the staff's professionalism, empathy and bedside manner. They were great at communicating what was going on with my dog and treatment. They answered all my questions. I felt pricing was fair as well. Highly recommend. Thank you!!!

The doctors and staff here saved my puppy's life when she had parvo this week. They treated her so well and were kind and communicative with me the whole way through. I'm so grateful to everyone who got us through this. This is the best facility!

We brought our severely ill black lab here. The staff and care was excellent on all levels. They took her into the ER within seconds of us arriving. We were then taken to a private room where paperwork (only 1 page) was completed and history taken. Not long after, the ER doctor came to talk to us. She was very compassionate and laid out the diagnostic/care plan answering all our questions as best she could at this early stage. We were then shown the min/max costs which was well explained. Expect the costs to be higher than your vet's office. This is a hospital, not a doctor's office. The equipment, staff and care are well worth it. I'm sad to say we had to let our Frankie go later that same day. We were able to spend as much time with her in a private room as we needed. No rush, no pressure. She was sent to the rainbow bridge in a very comfortable setting with us holding her and letting her know it would be okay. The Center offered various aftercare services which fit our needs. All in all, while the outcome wasn't what we hoped, we are very pleased with the care, medical expertise and compassion shown along the way.
