Mays RV financed me when no one else would and was super helpful to my situation. Barry, the sales pep was so friendly with us and worked with us to ensure that we got our RPOD 180. He even got us a killer insurance plan with a low monthly cost. Lisa, the manager, has been responsive every step of the way and even financed me in-house when no one would finance me since I was young and had little credit. I was able to pay off my RPOD 180 early and Lisa sent the title to me in priority mail at no hesitation! Everything has been so smooth from the sales, to the financing, to the service department. I wish they sold Class B's so I could purchase my next RV here because the team will be truly missed.

One bad apple always ruins the barrel. That describes this place perfectly. Yesterday I called in the get some warranty help on our Forest River. I was connected to a wonderful lady who was helpful and she was the one who dealt with warranty. She then transferred me to a man in the the service department. That is where our experience went completely downhill. As I was trying to explain the situation I was being cut off continuously, not being allowed to ask any questions or being treated with any kind of respect. At one point he mockingly and condescendingly called me “sweetheart”. Little did he know my husband was actually on the phone with me and at that point he stepped in. His tone immediately changed and became much lighter, respectful and actually let him speak. At the end of the conversation he offered us a 8% discount as if he was doing us a favor. At that time I asked him why we were needing to purchase the part if it’s under warranty and he said to me, that he doesn’t have to help us and the proceeded to hang up on both my husband and I. Being the non-sexist man my husband is, he immediately drove down to Mays and asked to speak to the manager and owner, both of which were female. They were appalled at the way I was treated. During that time this service member came up and interrupted the conversation and was so proud of himself for offering an 8% discount. So, after all that...yes the RV dealers and others that work there may be great but I stand by my first sentence. One bad apple always ruins the barrel.
First, they were actually open on a Saturday. They have so many parts options that we weren't able to find at 3 other RV parts locations. The staff was kind and helpful, prices were reasonable. We will be returning here first for any of our RV repair needs.
Dan in Parts was incredibly helpful diagnosing and helping fix an issue with my RV fridge that was not easy to address. He was tenacious, polite, and went out of his way to make me a happy customer.
My wife and I had been looking for a few weeks now at RV's and stumbled across a brand and style that we liked. Mays was the closest distributor to us. We were connected with Steve when we walked into the office. Steve was great to work with. Not pushy and answered every questions we had (there were a lot). He went over all the options and features of the Forest River RV's with us making sure we understood what each model had to offer. He made buying our first grown up toy a breeze. No stress or haggling. It's was like we had known him forever. He made sure every issue with the RV was fixed before we completed our final walk-through. A week later when we went to pick up our RV we did our final walk-through with Thomas. He was very knowledgeable and made sure to walk us through proper camper set up and how to winterize it. He made sure we felt comfortable with all the processes. This is our first camper as a couple so we had lots of questions on how to maintain it. All the staff at Mays RV was very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend Mays if you are looking to purchase a camper and get great customer service. It's a win, win.
