We LOVE Columbia City Jazz! This is such a wonderful place for kids to learn how to dance. My son took classes and was a member of the company for years. Now my daughter is taking classes and participating in summer camps and the holiday show. The instruction is the very, very best. Ms. Shannon is an incredible dancer, has a lifetime of experience at the highest level and now is sharing her gifts and expertise with my daughter. She is fantastic with the kids, so funny, so fun, they love her dearly. She really knows how to teach these kids to dance. The technique, the creativity, the musicality is exquisite. My daughter has learned so much in such a short time working with Ms. Shannon. She looks forward to class every week and performs for us at home regularly so we see how much she has improved. Ms. Dale is an incredible artistic director and creates a loving, professional environment. She is famous in the dance world and her choreography is so unique, so creative, so inspiring. Ms. Dale gives her heart and soul to these kids. She cultivates the love for dance, nurtures her dancers, and instills in them values and creates experiences they can carry with them for the rest of their lives. Columbia City Jazz is more than just a dance school. It is a supportive, loving community that makes this world a better place.
This was our first year with CCJC and it was wonderful! The staff is so nice and great with the kids. Mrs. Shannon is amazing at teaching the little one's tap and ballet steps while still making it fun for them. She is a hoot! The kids absolutely love her and we parents do too! We'll be signing up for the Fall too!
Really enjoyed seeing my daughter enjoy dancing with Miss Shannon. Miss Shannon is very energetic and patient with young dancers as their excitement is amazing to see. The recital was cute and I also enjoy watching the dancers in company. Amazing! Would definitely recommend CCJC :)
2018 - 2019 was our first year dancing, and I am so glad we went with CCJ. My daughter has found a love for dancing and we will definitely be following that through. I personally appreciate how classy and tasteful they keep the music and the costumes. The company dancers provide a great example for my daughter as to where she could go with dance. Love love watching them perform as well
