House of hope in Lexington mo is a absolute joke. I had one visit there with my son. They kicked me out because of their incompetence. I wish I could remember the man's name. Funny part, they wanted to testify to take my child. Less than a month later I has sole physical custody of him. They are a laughing stock....... I would rate them 0 stars. They should be shut down. They try to ruin lives not help.....

God said I needed this place to get out of a bad place nd I thank the ppl there. some staff was hateful and rude to me and my son but Brittney and the girl with glasses was amazing to us and helped. God sent me to them for a reason
What an awful place: Emotionally unstable and verbally abusive staff. It’s absolutely terrible how they make residents feel. Unprofessional in the way they respond to problems. The Actual Shelter is a toxic Waste Dump- but you wouldn’t think that by looking at the exterior, which is newly painted. But indoors...the furniture is old, and it smells. There is Black mold growing in the basement and other areas, especially the bathroom. Can’t believe this place has financial Donors. It’s a disgrace. I’m not sure what the Health Dept can do – but there are children living there.
good place to start if you need help from an abusive relationship they also donate toys at xmas to the needy.
