Decided to go out today for a little wine tasting at Mercer House Winery and wow!!! The flavors blew me out the water!!! Almost every wine on their list I enjoyed. I ended up buying 6 bottles. Shannon was such a great guy to talk to. With him, the area and the atmosphere, it was such a comfortable place to be. I would definitely and will come back again.

We had a great time last Saturday afternoon at this rustic and unique winery! So glad we drove the hour from Camden to get there; it was totally worth it. Unique flavors and so nice to try different wines without feeling intimidated by not being an expert:) We will be back!

Fun experience with my wife going to their wine tasting. We ended up buying 12 bottles and drinking another while we were there. Each wine has a neat twist to it's taste and often times you can recall the flavor from foods you've eaten before. Also it's very rare you find a veteran owned winery so I'm always willing to support a veteran especially when it comes to alcohol.

Unusual winery experience, but a great one! From the moment we heard the voicemail recording on the machine we knew this was not your average winery! Beautiful, quaint setting and not too far drive from Columbia. The wines were not your typical flavors!! Very creative stuff happening here!! There were a lot of different wines to try and they took the time to tell us about each one. The host/winemaker was very nice and funny. Very light hearted casual atmosphere. Looks like they are adding on a large covered porch for more seating! The wine slushie was very good. And we took home 2 bottles! I would definitely reccomend Mercer House!
