It had been over 10 years since I last visited and well....... Not that impressed only 1 performer was entertaining! One of the entertainers who was pretty up in years didn't even know the words to the music she was performing to! The other Entertainer that was performing look like she had pulled her wig out of a garbage can! And the male entertainer was not attractive in the least! The only Entertainer in which we enjoyed was Lilo! The staff was friendly but I guess because it was a Thursday night the bar was near dead.

I came here on my 21st and loved it! The music is wonderful and the queens are gorgeous! The bartenders are all very kind (there is one bartender who always teases me but it's all in good fun lol). I've thought about going to other gay bars in town but honestly this ones got me hooked \u003c3 the dance floor is a good size and the cover charge is not bad at all. I can't speak on the drink prices though because I'm typically too drunk to remember what the prices are hahaha. Can't wait to go back!
I planned a big birthday party here, had the most amazing night. Joe helped to make sure we had great seats for the show and hosted us very graciously. The bartenders were a bit off on all the drinks.. Everyone changed to beer due to the mixings . Other than that it was an epic party . Entertainers were absolutely stunning. Gracen was my favorite. That man can perform and was so sweet .. all of the entertainers were wonderful. Cant wait to bring more friends and have some more fun .
If only there were more stars to rate, because The Bar has so many stars inside!!! My partner and i went last night...lets just say we want to be regulars!!! We were a little nervous, because 1) We have never been to a club of any kind (We don't get a baby sitter often) and 2) we are in a heterosexual relationship and were not sure if the atmosphere would be open to that. Everyone was beyond nice, from the doorman to the bartenders to the queens. I feel welcome and at home every minute. The outfits were like something out of vogue magazine, the humor was sharp and witty, the elegance was overwhelmingly stellar. I sincerely hope that the owners of The Bar will share my comments with all their employees, as we are both so grateful for their kindness. We will definitely be back!!!
Warnings! This is also part gay strip club! I didn't know this, and just came because it was reported as the best dance club in the city. The dance floor is a good size, and there is a dj that plays pretty good stuff. All the staff is very nice, and respectful of the fact that I am not gay. Would recommend with the above warning.
I went here on a Thursday night to see what Lexington's nightlife had to offer and while I haven't been to any "real" drag bars, I thought this was a fun little place. I can only speak for the first floor, which has a nice bar/lounge area followed by a sexier stage/lounge area where the performers take you away. Thankfully, no cover, as we only stayed for a few songs during amateur night, but I was impressed by the performers. I mean, really, if that's amateur, what does the regular night look like? Very straight-friendly and clean.
