Everything either newly renovated or about to be. Young and friendly staff. Excellent maintenance (and if you speak Spanish, they'll go the second mile). Looks good inside and out, and I'm happy I chose to live here. I'd obviously like the rent to be lower, but it's still reasonable considering the "newness" and the amenities available. UPDATE: Wrote original review over a year ago, and gave it five stars then. Some updates to add: There has been a recent change in management, and I'm hopeful it'll be better than the previous staff that was frequently unhelpful and rude to anyone who had maintenance problems. The maintenance guys themselves have always been fantastic. At this point I no longer believe they should be charging as much as they do considering the disrepair of several roofs and plumbing systems throughout the complex. Additionally, the parking is a nightmare. I still give it 4 stars because of the quality of the wards, the closeness to campus, and the decent quality of the apartments.

Fun apartment complex, friendly management, and nice amenities. If you're looking for a social environment, liberty on freedom is the place to be! The apartments themselves are decent--they've been renovated but my apartment had a number of issues with it when I moved in. They are pretty good about fixing things though when you put in a maintenance request. My only other complaint is the rent. It's definitely too high considering the size and quality of the apartments. Rent is about the same as the Riviera, but the Riviera's apartments are almost twice as big and a lot nicer.
Liberty on Freedom is a great place if you’re looking for somewhere social. The amenities are never ending and the people in the office always have some new way to treat the residents. The apartment is a little small but it’s good for the price. The only negative I would mention is the parking. Make sure you get paid parking. It is WORTH it because it is hard to find parking on the street. Overall a great place for a student!
Living space is average, not great, but definitely overpriced. When I moved in the place was gross, obviously not cleaned prior to our move in. I also never received a key fob for entry into the laundry room and gym the entire year I was here, and parking is pretty awful. Be aware that you are subject to cleaning checks, where they apparently reserve the right to enter your apartment without knocking (and is also a third party, not Liberty themselves). While I lived here we had several inspections where we were failed and our accounts charged, however the place was never actually checked. When we approached management to try and resolve the issue, Hannah from the office hung up on my roommate and refused to try and resolve things, telling us that it was written down that our apartment had been checked and wasn't clean (which was a lie, nobody came in). Overall very disappointed in the lack of professionalism with that interaction, and others, which is largely the reason neither I, or any of my roommates will be renewing. Edit for the fun reply! While I understand Liberty is trying to save face, I find the response and the lying pretty funny. My roommate made the call to Hannah, and he actually remained very polite, however he was firm. The "harassment" and "inappropriate behavior" was me laughing once in the background as she told us to assume anyone trying to enter our apartment unannounced to be management. Personally not something I assume when someone tries to let themselves in to my living space, but I guess that's a me problem? She then hung up the phone abruptly without any offer to work things out later. We eventually did resolve it, but it took almost a week and a couple different employees, never did talk to Hannah again. Liberty loves to cut corners and takes advantage of naive young renters, I've seen this with inspections, apartment repairs, overall upkeep of the property, and especially in dealing with management. Just find somewhere else to live.
I would recommend living here to close friends and family. The apartments are nice. A heck of a lot more spacious than Glenwood.
It was such a great apartment to have as my first one on my own! The management was easy to communicate with and maintenance came super quickly! Thank you Liberty on Freedom!
Fun atmosphere, and good management. Overpriced for sure though and The parking situation is horrendous, the complex only provides parking for about 36% of the residents that live there. It’s very hard to get a parking pass to park in the stalls and there is absolutely no street parking at all.
Pretty good apartment, good amenities (hot tub and pool) and social scene. Pretty basic apartment, rooms are pretty big, living room is nice, kitchen is kinda small. Close to BYU.
