Dr. Rose demanded I pay 8,000 immediately when I arrived in the middle of the night under the influence and quite afraid. The checks were already cashed the next morning, by the time I realized this place was understaffed, awful food service, etc, etc. I had to ask for a partial refund since I decided to go find help elsewhere. She absolutely refused even a dollar refund. I called her after I returned home to plead for something since I was very poor and I only stayed a few days. What did she do? SHE CALLED THE LOCAL POLICE ON ME CLAIMING I MADE TERRORISTIC THREATS against her. Thank goodness the cops saw through her game. I recently posted a review on Yelp and I just received a letter from Dr. Rose's Law Firm threatening to sue me because I dared to tell a true account of what this place is like. Apparently she sues you or calls the cops on you if you dare challenge her. Stay Away.

I was a resident at Life's Journey Center during 3/2008-6/2008. This place and the staff saved my life! I was a stone cold hopeless before and when I arrived at Life's Journey Center. I had no idea how to live life. I had a shaky up bringing and had no concept of rules. Dr. Rose was at the facility on a daily basis and conducted the intimate group therapy sessions. She is an extremely wise and patient woman. She saw me and read right through my b.s. She worked with me and others on an individual basis. Yes the the rules always change, there's a reason for that. It's a rehabilitating center that house roughly 14 - 20 people who need help and don't know how to live. Life always had curve balls. Anyways, it's 11/2013. We have 5 years and 8 months clean. I arrived at LJC when I just turned 24 sick of life wanting to die! Nothing to live fit except my next fix! Today I'm 29, and have an amazing life! BEYOND MY WILDEST DREAMS! I have my own business, I'm a homeowner, I'm a father of a 2 year old boy. A soon to be husband with a woman I adore and cherish she is my best friend. I'm a productive member to society. Most of all more important than asrk that material and exterior stuff, I have God and myself today. I was a lost soul. Today I know who I am. Life's Journey Center began the life changing process. They told me to go to meeting when I left the center and that's what I did and still do today. I miss Life's Journey Center and wish I could stop and visit. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about the center and the beautiful Southern California weather. I really do miss it there so do much. I'm in Philadelphia freezing my butt off! I highly recommend to go here or bring your loved one here.
