First off I only helped with one meal there so I don't really have a lot of experience with this place. I enjoyed sitting and talking with some of the residents of this facility. This place seem to clean and the food was plenty and it was delicious. I didn't cook it I only served it. The people were super friendly and I ran into some of them at City Church on Sunday and take him up and talk with me and one of them sat with me. It is so wonderful with this town has an Outreach Center like this. I am sure that there are issues and people that are unhappy but everything I saw it looked pretty good and after having a brother that died after living on the streets I am so grateful that there are places like this to help people get back on their feet

I was serving at the LightHouse with my church. However on 9/11/2018 I was a resident there. My bf of almost 2 years had a massive heart attack and I lost him. At that time I wss living in West Tulsa and I didn't have a job so I literally had no place to go. So the shelter is where I started rebuilding my life. I'm very thankful for all that they did for me.
