Should have read the reviews before supporting this establishment... Placed my order on December 8th, 2020. The estimated ship date then was Jan 12th, 2021 which was already a long time but I wasn't in a rush so I didn't think much of it. Obviously I didn't receive it on Jan 12th because this company doesn't respect punctuality. I reached out in late Jan and they checked my order, which for some reason now had an estimated ship date of 2/5/2021. Okay, at least it's coming, so I continue to wait. 2/3/2021 I receive an email that my order now has a ship date of 2/8/2021. A full 2 months after it was placed!! Again, I patiently wait because at least this time I didn't have to reach out to get the shipping update. Here I am writing this review on 2/15/2021. Still have not received my order. The worst part is I live in Chicago and could have easily gone and picked up my order had they provided that option. Ordering anything from this place is a waste of money and time.

I should have read the reviews before ordering from this place. This business is completely unprofessional. I had placed an order for a table and I emailed to check on my order after a few weeks. The customer service rep quoted that the item would not be shipped until March 2021. No where on the website was it listed this item would take that long (the website quoted 2-4 weeks). I requested my order to be canceled immediately, and the person I talked to on the phone said they had canceled my order. For some strange reason, a couple of days later I received a shipping notice that my item had shipped. This is after I canceled and placed an order with another business for the same table. I called them multiple times to let them know of their mistake and each time the rep on the phone did not understand what was going on. They even requested that I go out of my way to return the item they mistakenly sent! They did not respond to my refund request for the cancellation so I ended up submitting a dispute with my credit card company. Completely unprofessional and unsatisfactory service over the phone and via email. I would not recommend this place, especially for the kinds of products they are selling.

I am saddened to realize that I should have read the reviews prior to placing orders. We ordered over 5000 dollars of lighting from this company. This turned out to be one of the worst purchasing experiences we have ever had. One of the fixtures was delayed by several months and we eventually had to cancel delivery. This was disappointing, but it wasn't even the beginning of our journey. We received the other ordered fixtures, only to find out that the product was very much inferior to what was advertised on the Lightology website. Not only was the pendant extremely cheaply made, but it wouldn't even maintain the advertised shape. After discussing with customer service, we decided to return the fixture. After shipping the pendants back, first response was that we had forgotten to return all the components. After much explaining and pleading (weeks), they responded that the product was returned completely, but that the package had been opened and as such they can not accept the return. In the modern era of ecommerce, this is already completely unacceptable. We then requested for the pendant to be shipped back. WE PAID FOR THE SHIPPING. We even begged for extra packaging to assure safe delivery. Not only did they not provide any extra packaging, but the pendants were delivered completely shattered, in a loosely taped box, and without even a single plastic bag inside it to provide any cushion. We paid over one thousand dollars to receive a shattered pendant after months of agony. I hope you are ashamed of your practices and I hope others read this as a cautionary tail.

I experienced the worst customer service ever. The delivery took 4 weeks from the order date. However, the lighting was used one that has lots of scratches and the inside packages were opened and dirty. I requested the return to Lightology right away. They responded after 10 days and didn't proceed the return process even though I provided the pictures of the lighting and all the information for it. I have to call them every time to proceed it. Still I didn't receive the refund for 4 weeks since I asked the return even though Lightoloy received my return package in their facility.
