We have had grandchildren at Providence for over 8 years. What a positive change from public school. Smaller classes, loving Christian teachers. The educational opportunities are outstanding. This is evidenced by the number of graduates being offered scholarships. Even though their enrollment is significantly lower than public schools, they excel in the arts and sports. A wonderful Christ-centered environment.

Amazing Christian private school. Loving teachers and faculty. Christ centered and exceptional learning opportunity!
I was a high school student here and have a lot to say about my experience. Please take a moment to read it. (Disclaimer, I am using a pseudonym, but this is my authentic account of what Providence is like.) For starters, diverse thought is strongly discouraged at this school. Those who do not fit the mold of Perfect Suburban Straight White Conservative Christian are often made to feel like outsiders. Staff turns a blind eye to this, even enables it by silencing conversations about racism and openly discriminating against the LGBTQ community. Teachers often teach their opinion as if it is fact, especially in Bible courses but elsewhere as well. Providence is home to a damagingly close-minded culture. Academically, the school is okay, probably slightly above average. They don't offer a very wide range of courses, but some of them are high quality. Some standouts are AP Calculus with Coach Randrup, Physics with Mr. Aleman, and AP Art with Ms. Webb. This school also provided great accommodations for my learning disability. I am proud to say that I did end up going to a prestigious university upon my graduation from Prov. Unfortunately, none of this is enough to make up for the emotional and spiritual trauma I endured here. Providence played a key role in pushing me away from the Christian church, and I am still processing my Providence experience in therapy years later. In conclusion, I consider my time at Providence to be a dirty stain on my life whose only positive effects were its ability to help me get into a good college.
I went to this school here in the 90s and am now a parent with 3 children here (our 5th year). From the top down this place is led by people whom I respect and love wholeheartedly, and my appreciation continues to grow each year. They are intentional about every decision they make, and they work so hard to work with parents and students, covering everything in prayer. They are professional, and yet they make you feel at home. They don't claim to be perfect, and are very open to feedback, which shows their heart. The facilities are clean and inviting, with appropriate safety precautions and security personnel in place (while not burdensome). At the risk of sounding overly simplistic, the faculty and staff are just nice, Christ-centered people all around. They really are. I can't say enough. You just have to come see for yourself. Google reviews (in general) can sometimes be misleading, and tend to hit the extremes, so I recommend you just come check it out and talk to people yourself. For my 2 cents, I'm more than happy to brag about Providence.
I have made the most amazing friends at providence. Providence also helped my faith in Christ grow stronger, and glorifying him everyday.
