Newly renovated with nice upgrades, especially for the animals, has returned this facility to its former self. Facilities and staff have all “up their game” from the last owners. A lot of new buildings and cages for the animals. Most animals are rescues and some like the coyote are local celebrities. We did notice fewer animals intermingling with the guests. Entry requires timed tickets purchased on-line to limit the guests in the sanctuary. Food (regulated) can be purchased from the sanctuary, so don’t bring food to feed. Lots of animals from deer and sheep to Buffalo and peacocks. Great fun for the family.

We visited with extended family on a chilly day in January. The new construction is very encouraging. The animals are well taken care of and feeding the ones you can feed is so much fun. We did gem mining also and the kids had a lot of fun. We learned a lot about the different animals also. There were several empty exhibits but I am hopeful some animals will find sanctuary here soon. We ended up buying an annual pass. So excited to continue to watch this place grow and get better than ever.

The COVID precautions were amazing! We felt very safe. The reserving times meant that there were very few people at the park. And people were good about wearing masks. We also really enjoyed the experience. The animals seemed happy and well taken care of. You could tell the emphasis was on protecting the animals and education. My kids loved the long tongues of the bison and thought the peacocks were just hysterical. I would suggest if you go, to buy a feed bucket. Feeding the animals was definitely a highlight. This was a perfect day for our family. My 5 yo and 1yo loved it!

We went yesterday and had an absolute blast! I loved that there was so much staff available to answer questions we adults and my 5 year old nephew had about the animals. We learned a lot and really enjoyed being able to feed the animals and even pet some of them. I love that they don't give you the weird food pellets to feed animals- the 5 cup is fresh romaine lettuce and carrots! The animals are very well cared for and the staff has so much passion for caring for them. I look forward to going back in the future!

This is an amazing place for anyone with young children. Get the 5 food cup. It's a large cup with a whole heart of romaine and some baby carrots. Kids can feed and pet goats, a miniature horse, a donkey, sheep, bison, deer, and rabbits. There are lots of other animals to look at in their enclosures, which are clearly put together thoughtfully and with consideration to the animals' natural habitat. It's a great place to spend a couple of hours!
