Soap Creek marina has cabins that offers everything. Even though it is still open, the current public health crisis has taken toll on so many places like this. Soap Creek looks like the kind of place that a couple looking for a romantic weekend would enjoy. A family looking for new memories will find the ambiance just right. You can rent cabins, drive your RV or pitch a tent. Walking trails, boating, or bring your own. There is a restaurant and a small supply store. We are hoping that by late spring or summer, we will be able to enjoy a truly remarkable recreation facility. No place is ever perfect, but it has everything we need for a getaway. Check it out for yourself and decide if it's for you.

Stayed at cottage A. The view of the water from the cottages is very nice. This place has a lot of potential but they do little to no maintenance. It's a 3bd/2bth double wide mobile home with 2 single beds in each room (no headboard or footboard, metal frame only). 2 of the boxsprings were badly BROKEN and caused the worst backache I've EVER had trying to sleep on it one night. My 3yo and I slept in living room on couches. The toaster is broken(toasts 1 side of each slice lol), microwave missing turntable, large stove burner was out, had roaches, water knob broke in bathroom sink, no washer/dryer, the laundromat at bathhouse looks like it's been out of order for years and has wasp nests etc, I was too afraid to even check the bathrooms at bathhouse so idk about those... I could go on.. if you stay here, good luck, bring your own bowls and forks and beds and towel hooks etc.
We ready enjoy ourselves at the campground . Cabins were clean and nice. Restaurant was good and not over priced. Very convenient for us. We will be going back hopefully next time with a boat.
Overall food and service was great. My only drawback with my visit there was the live music. Music/singers was very good but was extremely loud which made it very difficult to have a conversations with my friends while we enjoyed our dinner.
Get the Osso Buco! The bones pop right out of the pork shank. It is glazed with an orange sauce!
Not a resort. Pull-up RV parking, with fire pit, picnic tables. Very small store. Few cabins. Boat launch 5.
Food was really good. 3rd time eating there this summer. Grilled shrimp were huge. Crowded. Go early. Boated over from Elijah Clark State Park. Nice ride. Entertainment was good as well. Nice time.
Very fast and friendly service and rental experience. Very nice experience and food was good to go.
