Rented the teal cabin for Labor Day weekend. Very clean, nice, cozy! Had everything we needed in the kitchen, and it was all in very good condition. Left life preservers at home, and owner of the cabin was very responsive and able to loan us one. Great location to 1,000 islands for fishing. When not fishing, cabin was a perfect place to relax - sit on deck, watch DVDs, play cards, etc. Plan to go back next spring!

We stayed out here in November of 2019 and had a great experience at Goose Pond. We would highly recommend staying at Goose Pond Cabin Rentals. The cabins were clean and had everything that you could need for a weekend away. We will be back for sure.
We wanted to have our wedding out there to have a nature themed wedding outside and the owner charged us hella extra money afterwards because we didn’t tell him we were having a wedding out there. We cleaned everything up and there was no trash left behind and yet he charged extra just because we didn’t tell him we were having a wedding out there...the cabin is way overpriced to begin with and then we get an even larger bill afterwards. We rented the cabin so we should be able to use it for whatever we want to for the time we’ve rented it.

We have stayed with goose pond several times a year while fishing tournaments and family trips. The owners are amazing and will help you out with anything....... even good fishing spots lol. We were there this past weekend for a fathers day fishing trip and even though it rained most of the time and dodged a tornado or two we still had a blast (sorry if you guys found any nerf bullets... we tried to get them all lol.) Thank you guys for opening up your cabins for people to have a great time in a great area of Indianapolis. We will continue to come back because there is no better place to stay in the area. Close to town but you would never know it by sitting on the porch and relaxing enjoying nature.
