Lisa McBride Massage is not for everyone. If you are a person with pain (acute or chronic) she is the one for you. I had 2 major accidents one when I was 5 the other when I was 15. In both of these accidents I injured my right side. Now that I am in my 50’s arthritis has set in and they doctors say, “it isn’t if I will need a hip replacement but when.” That will be when I can no longer tolerate the constant pain. I took Advil till it had affected my kidney function, so I had to stop that. I have gone to chiropractors since I was a teenager for the pain, which helps for a short time. Then a friend told me about Lisa’s McBride massage….not your typical massage. She asks, “where do you hurt?”. Then she watches and assesses if you’re guarding an area. Once she starts the massage she may spend the entire hour in a small area. One time she worked from my right knee to my hip that was it. After the first visit I had very little pain for 2 days. I was ecstatic; I have dealt with pain every day for the past 38 yrs. After a few sessions I literally had no pain except when I laid on my right side for 2 weeks. Her massages are not necessarily soothing but are therapeutic. She gets into the injured tissue and works out the adhesions that have formed from accidents that have occurred in our past. This process can be painful at times but the results are well worth it. SO for those especially that have had chronic pain for year; Lisa McBride Massage may be your answer to prayer…I know she was mine.
