Extremely helpful! I came in wanting some fire bricks to make a forge, but the owner sat me down and asked about my needs and I found out that the fire bricks wouldn't do the job. He sold me the things I needed to make a better forge than I had planned for half the price it would have cost if I bought the materiels online.
I am making a small aluminum smelter. The staff at Larkin are polite and helpful. They recommended a product that would fit my needs. They even went through the trouble of calculating how much I would need. Then they took the time to write down instructions on mixing, curing, and firing. They didn't push me out the door. Instead they went out of their way to take the time to help a small customer. These are the kind of people that you enjoy doing business with.
