Came into the store About a week ago not knowing what to get for my new puppy. I was approached by an awesome Manager named Angela that was able to provide me with all the information and essentials I needed to care for my new pet. Took me Isle by isle to explain what all was needed, gave me an awesome coupon book and told me all about the awesome Savings for enrolling in The Vital Care program. Never seen such awesome customer service in a very long time in Retail itself. All the associates Were very friendly and fast to help My needs. I give this store five stars and an A!
The groomers are wonderful! They are always energetic, enthusiastic, and welcoming. My pet is a Japanese Akita and when we arrive to Petco it’s like she knows where she is and she gets so excited which is very warming to me!
I took my elderly dog in to be groomed on 2/15. I explained to staff that my dog was deaf and blind. They stated that they understood and would take their time with her. I came back in early and found the groomer cursing at my dog! Apparently my dog was giving her a hard time about trimming her face. She looked like she had seen a ghost when she looked up and saw me standing there. She tried to make it better by saying how sweet my dog was but she didnt want her face trimmed. I told her that it didn't help that she was cursing at her. Although dog was hard of hearing I am sure she felt her negative energy. What was sad is that this appointment was my dog's last grooming appt. I had her laid to rest 2 days later due to her advanced cognitive decline. I just wanted her to look nice when we said goodbye. Instead she was treated badly! I would never set foot in the store again. I emailed corporate and have yet to get a response. I guess this type of behavior is not usual. BTW I did not get the groomer's name but all of her hair was shaved except for a bun on top.
Excellent Petco pet supply store. Awesome manager here, she was very friendly, informative and helpful. The store was clean, organized and well stocked. All the staff here are friendly, courteous and very professional. They will stop what they’re doing to help you find what you need so you can get on your way. There are bargains to be had on the merchandise with the “opps” label. The store is located in a very large shopping area. There is plenty of parking and easy access to the store.
