Not a bad launch point if doing the whole river or at least only going down stream dark water..lots of shallow sand spots and trees some areas only inches deep across entire river lots of gators strong current up stream 50 ft was blocked by logs but down stream passable..beautiful scenery along the river lots of wildlife steep in banks

No rentals. Very slippery and muddy and under a bridge. Lots of branches that seem to be covering the pathway for our SUP board that we brought with us. Very shallow looking water too. It'd be so much better with a bit of upkeep and maybe more signs (I'm afraid if we had tried to go down the river we wouldn't have found our way back). I would not recommend or go again.

Easy to get to launch site. Not a lot of parking, only about 8 paved spots.

Great little spot to stretch your legs, fish, and launch a kayak. Old informal trails both up and downstream. Watch your footing. Would love it if the state could develop this little spot more. Great views of the Econ just downstream thru the woods.
