Great experience with Captain Smiley last week. Patrick is a pro - boat was prepped, bait in the live well, and tackle was rigged when we arrived. We caught reds, flounder and a bonus trout on live mullet and soft plastics. Patrick shared a lot about the fishery and was great company for a morning on the water. Definitely recommended.

Booked a morning cruise with Smiley's after looking at reviews. Capt Curtis adjusted our time with the weather and more than met our expectations. He really knows the area and was very helpful with instructions for the novice, me, and my husband, who is more the avid fisherman. We caught flounder, red fish, and speckled trout! Great time fishing and talking with Curtis. The chef in me loved watching him clean and filet the fish! Wonderful time!
We randomly chose Capt. Smiley on an impromptu trip in October. Sometimes you get lucky, they were very easy to deal with. Our guide, Curtis, was great. Very personable and knowledgeable. He did a great job of taking care of us. The weather was threatening rain all day and there was a mackerel tournament, so boat traffic was a little rough. Curtis made the best of it and made the trip a real pleasure. Will definitely use them again and will request Curtis shen I do.
Patrick (Smiley) is very experienced and you can tell the moment you step foot on the boat! He shares the passion we all have as anglers, and it was a pleasure to share the boat with him! My father and I planned a little get away down to the beach condo and Patrick made the weekend a complete success!!! Although we struggled the first couple of hours to locate some fish Smiley used his vast knowledge of the waterway and resources to eventually land us on the right spot! And when we did it was LIGHTS OUT!!! My father and I caught redfish for about an hour and a half literally about every cast! I highly recommend Smiley’s services as he knows the terrain, has great instincts about the fish movement, and puts in the work to insure a successful day on the water! His personality and professionalism are icing on the cake! We will be back! That’s a fact!!!
My brother and I fished on one of the Captain Smiley boats on October 19, 2020. Great shallow draft vessel. Top notch electronics and tackle. Setup to fish several different methods depending on conditions. Took some time to net fresh mullet in the early AM which made a huge difference in our trip. We caught plenty of redfish, flounder, bluefish and Spanish mackerel; about 45 total. Would highly recommend for the experienced fisherman. We will definitely go again.
