My first visit with Dr. Thrasher he identified I have a rare form of diabetes. After 40 years with diabetes there was the answer to many questions! My children both have diabetes, a gene we inherited. With this new diagnosis they were able to discontinue insulin after 15 years and take an oral medication! I lost 100 pounds in the next two years. Life changing events for my family and I! Dr. Thrashers knowledge is beyond compare. He is continually working on his education and also very involved with research. Dr. Thrasher takes the time to get to know his patients making the overall experience remarkable!!! The positive experience begins at the front desk. From the front to the nurses in back, the folks are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Most of them have been with Arkansas Diabetes & Endocrinology for many years, the same smiling faces each time! This always says to me... something is working right in that clinic!

I was sent to Dr Thrasher when I flunked a pre surgery check up. My A1C was 12! Dangerous level. Dr T and his team (RIP sweet Kim) took over, and within a few weeks I was cleared for surgery. That was almost 20 years ago. I was always treated with respect, kindness, and given a wealth of information to keep this under control. Office Visits are a pleasure-not a pain. And now, the pandemic telecall visits are great. Don’t know where I’d be without Dr T !

Dr. Thrasher is the most knowledgeable of insulin pump settings. His is very personable and will take time to answer your questions and explain in detail what he is thinking when adjusting your pump settings.
My appointments with Dr Thrasher are appointments I always look forward to, and his entire staff is wonderful. I am met with smiles at the front desk and the appointment continues with smiles and laughs from everyone. I was treated for T2 by my PCP, but when my numbers started going thru the roof and wouldn’t come down, he referred me to Dr Thrasher. That was my lucky day! Dr Thrasher diagnosed me with LADA, got me on a pump almost immediately, and it’s been smooth sailing ever since. I really miss my in-person appointments during the COVID crisis, and look forward to seeing everyone again. You guys rock!
