The reviews here are 100% correct. We applied hoping these were odd cases yet here I am. We were prompt, polite and patient. We received a request for yard photos 4 days after submitting our app so I assumed we were in the running, plus we live on land perfect for big dog space. We submitted pics, we see they updated our application date upon receipt, then dead silence for 2 weeks. Yesterday we get a general email that our dog was adopted and maybe we'd like to apply for another? No response to emails on status so who knows if we can even adopt with this agency or if there was a problem. You could at least respond to finish what you started. I know fosters with other agencies and they said this is NOT the norm so please look elsewhere unless you want to waste these pup's time. BBB says they were unresponsive to requests for info and/or eval. for charity accountability...tells you all you need to know.

We adopted a great pooch (Rosie) from 2 Blondes All Breed Rescue. Yes, it took a little while to hear back about the adoption process, and yes there are automated email responses that come back a bit curt at first glance...but at the end of the day, they're looking out for the best interest of the furry friends that they've rescued, and I respect that. Logistical nuances aside, they are exceptionally friendly and focus on ensuring their quadrupeds are well trained and the adopting family (and house) is a good fit as well. It's certainly easy to get upset when we're so used to instant gratification in our world, and I'm not the largest fan of some of the legal implications in the adoption agreement, but I am a "happy adopter" at the end of the day.

We just had the worst experience with this Rescue. I applied to adopt a puppy and was told the puppy had already a adoption pending. The Rescue asked me if I was interested in a different dog. A view days later I received a text from the Foster mom of the puppy I applied to initially and she asked me when we would like to see the puppy. First, I was very confused but also excited because I had been told the puppy was already gone. We drove from Highlands Ranch to Denver to see the pup on the weekend. We fell in love and my Kids both loved the puppy as well. The Foster mom also said she thinks we are a good fit for the pups in her care. They had another puppy and we had a choice which puppy we wanted to adopt. On Tuesday I received the Adoption Contract and I also asked some more question about the pup. The intake document said it would be a Schnauzer mix and the Spayed document said it would be a German Shepherd mix. This was quite a difference so I ask what they thought she really is and if she would be bigger than a medium dog. The Rescue said they think she would be medium size and that was good enough for me. That evening I filled out the Adoption Contract and paid the Adoption Fee. My daughter is 10 and my son is 14 and has Autism and we thought we get the pup this weekend, everybody was so happy. Today, I received an email saying they will not give me the puppy because of all the questions I asked about the size. We would have never returned the puppy even if she would have been bigger than a medium size dog. You are supposed to ask questions, I feel like such an Idiot. I already bought supplies and now I have to tell my kids when they get home from school that they will not get the pup. Thank you for that! All this because I asked about the puppies size! The President of the Rescue sure does not care about Humans. To cancel in the last moment after the Contract is filled out and you pay the Adoption Fee is cruel.

Our experience was great with 2 Blondes All Breed. We adopted our puppy there and love him so much. We filled out the application on 11/30 and had our puppy home with us by 12/9. The rescue is very transparent with their expectations on adopting a pet. They do have rules but it’s all for the best interest of animals. We only communicated one time on the phone, the rest was by lots of emails but they always responded within 48 hours like they said they would. Our foster for our puppy was Mel and she was great! She was so helpful and I know she really loved our puppy! I can tell she truly loves and cares about dogs We still keep in touch with her!

I see a lot of negative reviews by my experience with 2 Blondes All Breed Rescue was wonderful and I ended up with my perfect dog. Best part of 2020 for sure for me! The process was clear and straightforward. Everything of course looks different during the time of Covid and they are very busy, yet I still always received communication back within about 24-hours (once I had submitted my application). They do a great job of keeping their website updated with dog availability. A lot of dogs get adopted quickly (which is great!), so it is important to keep that in mind and understand all the work happening on their end. I ended up with the most perfect angel pup that is a perfect match for me. His foster mom was so wonderful and easy to communicate with. She got my application on a Saturday even, called me to set up a safe meeting in a park the next day, and I was able to adopt him the following day. His foster did such a great job training him as well. He is totally potty trained and sleeps through the night in his crate in the living room. For me, the whole process from the time I filled out the application with 2BABR and adopted my sweet pup was about 10 days. I filled out an initial application for 3 dogs (none of who ended up being still available) on 8/26 and officially adopted and took home my dog on 9/7. The adoption paperwork was really fast and easy. I received all of his medical records. He had received all shots, been neutered, and had a microchip. I was interested in several dogs, talked to a couple of foster parents, and ended up with the exact right match. Jessica was the adoption coordinator who worked with me and was great. Again, they are very busy but are working hard to get dogs in their right forever home. If you are clear on what you are looking for and flexible and understanding during this time, 2BABR can help you find your perfect doggie match. I am very happy and highly recommend this rescue!

Very difficult people to work with. Sent pictures of my back yard and house. Experienced pet owner and solid family home. Tried for weeks via email to adopt a puppy from them. Sad to think an organization trying to find good homes lacks the skills to find them.

I would give zero stars if that were an option. My best friend was so excited about working with this team to adopt a dog that was very in need of a loving home, which she was going to (and able to for one day) provide. After very enthusiastic conversation initially, meeting the potential dog, and taking the dog home, she was informed they would be pursuing legal action against her because she hadn’t yet paid the invoice THEY failed to provide her. The first time foster who was fostering the dog provided the invoice link directly to her, one day AFTER the adoption was completed, rather than the “business owners” themselves, which I find quite odd and incredibly unprofessional, not to mention a risky business move trusting your own collections to a volunteer. After paying the invoice once finally received, she was threatened with legal action and forced to surrender the dog. As a third party witness, the entire transaction was clunky, unprofessional and there is not even an actual business address for them as it appears to be run out of a house. There is also no answering machine, which is convenient for people not wanting to receive displeased calls after unbelievable events like this occur. I sincerely hope that the dogs being adopted through this “non-profit” are adopted, and all future adoptions are handled through actual professional organizations that know how to run a business and have human decency, for profit or not. I would absolutely adopt elsewhere, but again truly hope these dogs currently under their control are able to find good and loving homes.

My wife, myself, my kids, and I bet even our dog were excited at the prospect of adopting an adorable little puppy this rescue had. We contacted them in the very earliest of stages, as in the pup wasn't even old enough yet and wasn't quite ready, as they described on the website. He was only a few weeks old and a few pounds and needed time. We were totally ok with waiting a while. They responded to our application (about a week later) and asked us some basic questions, to which we promptly answered, about our family and most of all, our dog. They then said they didn't think our dog's breed was good with other dogs. Our dog is FANTASTIC with other dogs and doesn't have a mean bone in his body. They were clearly breed profiling. He is a mini bull terrier for anyone who is curious. We then responded with numerous references such as vet records, boarding family we use, friends that have puppy play dates, and more to hopefully show his temperament was not what they were imagining. Nevertheless, they never got back to us. At least not until about 3 weeks later when they informed us he was already in the process of being adopted by someone else. We had sent numerous follow up communications in that time and never heard a peep until they had secured another family to adopt the dog. They also never contacted a single one of the references we provided, in hopes of moving forward with the adoption. They are unresponsive, unprofessional, and I would not recommend this rescue to anyone seriously looking to add a 4 legged family member.
