I didn't have any problems with the court clerk that I spoke with. Now, I used to work in legal and I currently work in customer service. Please realize that these clerks work very high stress jobs. They have more responsibilities than just answering our calls. Working in customer service, I will tell you that we get a fair share of rude, nasty people and I'm sure these clerks do too. Have your information ready, give them a good attitude and don't expect it back. Their goal is to answer your questions as quickly as possible, so they can move on to someone else. It may come off abrupt, just don't take it personally, it's not. You don't understand their days at work, or what they may have dealt with on the call before yours. Regarding reviews where it's said they are not diverse, I grew up in the area and agree. I'm sorry you have to go through that, there's no excuse.

The judge won't even listen to me. The cop said i was crossing the intersection while the lights was changing from green to yellow, even though I still got the ticket.

I can't even begin to describe how terrible of an experience I had here. I had an informal hearing to negotiate a speeding ticket where I got caught in a speeding trap in a esidential area.\ The officer claims it was residential but I was not in a neighborhood, it was a regular road where the speed limit is usually 40 but changed to 30 and I happened to not see the change as I was looking for a business. I was not offered a pre-hearing mediation and the officer did not offer to discuss this before the hearing. When I tried to speak for myself at the hearing, the magistrate shut me down and insulted me as if I was the worst criminal she's ever seen. You would think someone with such a position of respect would be willing to listen to and consider the defendant's explanation instead of letting their own prejudice and emotions take over their mind. I am still in shock from being treated so cruelly. I saw that the magistrate was clearly discriminatory because as soon as I walked up to the podium her outward attitude quickly changed (she became very outwardly irritated and her voice started to sound extremely annoyed). This is the first time in my life I have been publicly berated and shut down without given a chance to make amends. Writing this review will not take back the humiliation I endured at this court but it is the only thing I can do now because I was not given a chance to explain my actions. Hopefully anyone else who was treated with blatant injustice from this magistrate will take some comfort knowing they are not the only one being misused by the justice system at this court.

Let’s just say this place isn’t very diverse...... (You’ll get my drift if you’ve seen get out)

I called about a ticket issue I see why they have a 1.9 rating. Can’t wait to finish with this ticket payment. Could’nt even get a good morning back after I greeted Lynn with one.
