We hired Motor City Soul for our October 2018 wedding, and we are so glad we did! Ross was great to work with leading up to the wedding day. We didn't have any issues. We had so much fun at our reception, in large part due to the talent and energy of Motor City Soul! We danced, and our guests danced all night long. We had multiple guests tell us how much they loved the band, asking where we had found them. Band members also acted as our MC's for the night, and every announcement, speech introduction, and the grand entrance went well and seemed very well-organized and professional. They have a GREAT selection of songs, and will accept input from the bride and groom prior to the wedding. One of the best things was that they are able to learn the songs that you select for your first dance songs if they don't already have them in their repertoire. We are so glad we opted to go with Motor City Soul for our wedding band--it made our wedding so much FUN! Booking them was one of the best wedding decisions we made. Highly recommend!

Booking with Motor City Soul was one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding! This band brings so much life to a party that our guests have been talking about how awesome they are for weeks now following our September 2017 wedding. They are amazing singers and musicians and they absolutely nailed our three song choices for special dances. They kept guests out on the dance floor throughout the entire reception and provided a liveliness with their stage presence that I just don't think a DJ would have been able to do. They also did a wonderful job MC'ing our grand entrance and toasts. They play such a wide range of music that they're able to get everyone dancing, and they even play great stuff between sets as well. They were a pleasure to work with, and I am so glad that we stumbled upon them when they played our friend’s wedding last year. Thanks so much to Motor City Soul for helping to make our wedding so wonderful and memorable!
