Bring bug spray and boots after a rain. Enjoyed the trail but I'd have to say it was because I wasn't in a hurry. Not the best marked trail I've been on but nature is nature :) the hills can provide a little bit of suffering if you enjoy that. You may be better off hitting another trail if you're in a hurry.

Very nice staff. A gentleman at the visitor center greeted us as soon as we arrived. He gave us a couple of trail maps we could use to get down to the river. Looks like the memorial area/trail can use some maintaining/upkeep, but overall it was a pleasant experience.

Wonderful opportunity to learn more about the German ancestors that settled in 1717. The library is loaded with many resources. The location is a wonderful facility and memorial, close to the river.

Looked nice from what I could tell. It was closed when I was there. They have added a post with trail maps right before the red trailhead.

I did a little drywall for the visitor center, and when I saw the St Andrews. I knew my spirit was guided by my ancestors , to this place . Johanna Gottlieb Ihrich was on the St Andrews in November of 1751. I am his decendant.
