Great, cozy and small-town vibe that serves classic comfort foods. Definitely miss the previous location, the current location is a little cramped, but once the dinner crowd thinned out it was fine. Love the no-fuss, down home offerings that are staples on many menus in the area. Great walleye that isn't oil-logged, the mashed potatoes and gravy are like a big ol' big on a plate.

This place is definitely NOT the same catfish lake! The catfish was raw I had to have them cook it more. It still came back out raw. In regards to this meal the fries were extremely salty, the shrimp tasted like it was from a box and the fish raw the bread hard as a rock! Mash potatoes and gravy and coleslaw and pickles were literally the only good part of our meals. We were needless to say very disappointed! The environment is a GOOD O'LE BOY BAR SETTING. Not family friendly in my opinion. It's hard to think how wonderful their food and environment used to be to now what it's become :( Look closely at the picture you can see the raw meat. I generally have a visit 3 time rule. This was my 3rd visit and each time was disappointing. Im done I'm not down for bar environment dining, raw food, and loud obnoxious drunk people. Joe Tess from now on.
Good selection of books online and in the building. Great librarians help you when you need it.
Love there fish wish they had a little more room to dinnim
Good burger, avoid curley fries. Fries were soggy and in no way curley like I've seen before. One waitress for the whole place, but she did her best. If it was not for the burger this would be only 2 stars!
