We stayed at the Buck Run Cabin 9/27 through 9/29. We enjoyed the fire pit in the back yard the first evening . The cabin is really nice and yet it needs some love, but it was a nice place to stay. Super secluded and so quiet. Hot tube was awesome even in the pouring down rain and wind ! Fonda Woods is the best host and we have never been disappointed in our staying at her properties. Will always reserve a cabin through Good Earth as they are there for the customers and I know we are getting a great place to stay and we always enjoy our time in Hocking Hills. !

Wonderful! Many styles to suit anyone! Ponds, horse trail availability, etc. A great way to get a break from everyday stress and enjoy the beautiful Hocking Hills nature. Loved every minute of my stay! Will be back !

We rented Majestic Pines. While we understand a little of a musty smell from being in the woods this cabin reeked of possibly pet urine. The carpet was stained in many areas and smelled terribly. Carpet needs cleaned or replaced. We rented this cabin based on the description on the web site since it had a \screened\ porch to enjoy wildlife while enjoying morning coffee or evening meal. Of the 6 openings 4 screens were missing and according to the log book filled in by previous renters it had been missing for several months. We could not use due to many bugs. This made the cabin no where near the 130 per night we spent. We will not rent from this company again since we can't trust the information on their web site. We love Hocking Hills and have been several times. We have had many better experiences in other cabins.

We stayed at Hilltop Cabin. First impressions were really good. Good location to get to hiking trails. Nice view out over the hills. There is another cabin that was close enough we could hear people talking, but it was screened with evergreen trees. Was a little put off that the hot tub faces the road and lacked privacy, but there wasn't much in the way of road traffic. The inside was very nice at first inspection. Newer appliances, seemed modern and updated. The devil was in the details though, we found many issues on closer inspection. There was missing carpeting in one of the bedrooms. There was a broken lamp in the livingroom. The cabinets were tacky/sticky from dirt and grease. Fire extinguisher was about to fall off the wall. Lightbulbs were burned out. A mix of cool white and warm white bulbs were in rooms. The cover to the hottub was broken. Kitchen table was wobbly, comedically, that drinks spilled while cutting food. The air registers were dirty, almost clogged with dust. The shower diverter in the master bath could be pulled out of the wall. There was plaster falling out of the ceiling over the kitchen table. Just a lot of general maintenance that could be done to make it a much nicer place.

Very unclean....was the biggest let down. But drawers were broken, fireplace didn't work, hot tub cover broken, microwave door broken, hole in the wall in kid bedroom. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. Bugs all in the window seals...bathtubs hadn't been cleaned, drains filled the tub while showering. For the price was extremely disappointed Called owner they did give us some what of a refund but should make people aware of these issues before they rent out a cabin. Also (Hilltop Cabin) there's a home directly behind you with a huge german shepherd so couldn't let our dogs out ( that we paid extra for) was just a huge disappointment overall. I will not rent from them again. My advice ....please read reviews carefully before making a purchase for your family. Especially during covid the cleaning mishaps were unbelievable.
