Simply put, Charles is excellent. We have used Charles for six or seven real estate transactions over the past 8 years, and every single one has been done well. He is super responsive and always willing to help us. We have both sold and purchased properties with Charles, in Chicago as well as the suburbs, so we have experienced everything and Charles has always impressed us. I won’t use anyone else in the Chicago area. He is professional, courteous, very knowledgeable about the processes, and he has a lot of great contacts for other real estate needs (like attorneys and funding sources). Charles is the man! You can’t go wrong with him.

I recently bought a house with Charles Nicholson/Earned Run Real Estate Group as my agent. This was my third transaction with him/them. He was extremely flexible, pleasant, and most importantly, knowledgeable! I have referred Charles to several of my close family and friends, and they have stuck with him over the years because it's apparent that he knows his stuff and will be completely transparent with you. He will not talk something up to make a sale - he really cares about his clients' well being. From the selling standpoint - he helped me sell my condo about two years ago. He worked that magic got above asking price within one month of posting it for sale. This guy is amazing. Highly recommended!

Extremely inhumane, greedy for money and the most unprofessional leasing agency. I'm a current tenant at one of the properties they manage and have been here for more than 1.5 years. In this duration, they have been extremely irresponsible and unresponsive in fixing maintenance issues. Currently I have been having heating issue from November 1st which has not been fixed till date. My apartment is constantly at 80 degrees and they are least bothered to fix it. None of them work out of their office and maintenance do not have a direct line to contact. I was fed up and reached out to the owner - Matt Schmidt, who made false promises that the issue would be fixed. I also had reached out to the owner - Matt Schmidt on FB before mailing him because the office management would never connect me to him or give his e-mail Id. He threatened to go to police if he received anymore messages from me. I have given up hopes that the issue is ever going to be fixed and I know I will not get back my security deposit because they offered me to break the lease but would keep the deposit as I wanted to move elsewhere due to the inconvenience. Lastly, I absolutely do not recommend dealing with this agency who are extremely unprofessional and careless. They don't even deserve 1 star. Stay away from this leasing/Real Estate agency! Beware!
