Nice place. Very friendly staff. I called in an order no problem. Got steak tacos, which are amazing, and rice and beans. Keep in mind pork is not Halal and a lot of traditional refried beans have pork fat added for flavor. I noticed a lighter flavor, but added a splash of salsa and they tasted fine.
From a welcoming and congenial staff to the fresh and delicious mexican style foods, tacos , chips and guacamole very delicious chicken and bbq beef and steak as well. Its Halal and Zabiha which is like kosher and blessed. Hisbiscus drink was really really good. Thanks guys.
tasty food! very nice employees. The refried beans are really light and delicious. one suggestion for the owners though. The menu on your website is a very low resolution image. (at least that is how it shows up when you view it on a phone) you should replace it with an easier way to read the menu online
New halal Mexican restaurant in the Lombard area. A lot of my friends had recommended the Desplaines location so were really excited to have them open their authentic Mexican restaurant in this area. Let's start with what a disappoinment!!!! The food took a long time to cook, we ordered various dishes from the menu including burritos, tacos (soft and hard) and fajitas. House Specials were not good at all. The fajitas were cold, meat was rubbery and bland. If you know anything about fajitas, they should be sizzling. The fried beans were rubbery and rice was nothing to talk about. Tacos were stale and smelled. The meat was not marinated well. The only saving grace why I give them 2 stars was the burritos which were decent even though some of boxed BBQ sauce was used in one of them. Buyer beware.
