Did work I didn’t approve; overcharged; completely underhanded - they make money off pilot owners that don’t know any better. Do your research and find a an honest facility - this isn’t one. Update: the response from lone mountain to this review is full of falsehoods - the repairs were not reviewed and estimated with me prior to being done, and while the repair for the prop strike was covered by insurance, the over 12,000 they charged me for an annual (!!) was not. Also they radically underestimated the bid for the repairs which the insurance company accepted - then doubled the cost they charged the insurance company. This is dishonest and unethical - avoid LMA. There is no way a 177rg with a prop strike should have cost 77,000 for repairs !!

As a cirrus sales rep - please avoid lone mountain aviation. We’ve had a series of issues with them - we want you to enjoy your cirrus safely and for a long time and we do not recommend lone mountain aviation to do any service on cirrus aircraft.

On the positive side: I’ve seldom experienced personal attention to customer needs like Kenny provides. He called me back on a Saturday afternoon to help me with an electrical system issue in a SR22. He’s very responsive and a nice guy. His employees are enthusiastic about working for him. They are similarly service-oriented and helpful. On the other hand: after working on the airplane for a day and releasing it for flight, exactly the same electrical system anomaly re-occurred after about 5 minutes in flight. It is a pity that the technical side of the services was not good. Maybe too many technicians with low experience? (The next Cirrus repair station that worked on the plane, with a very experienced technician, diagnosed the problem based on my description of the symptoms and resolved the issue fully while I was at lunch. Kudos to the Jet Center at KMFR)

Lone Mountain is a great facility to bring your aircraft! Kenny is an honest, reasonable , knowledgeable and hard working individual! Goes by the book, but who in the aviation Industry, would want it any other different way!
