Love love love this place. Go to one of the community nights/roasts and you will fall in love. Great food and music under the stars and bistro lights

A beautiful small farm in the middle of the bustle and hustle of suburbia, It’s kind of an oasis in the middle of the city! A working farm with a hard working woman farmer by the name Sasha, she’s a very nice lady with a beautiful personality! Her farm grows non gmo veggies and some fruits but I love her farmstand her pride and joy! I can get behind something so natural and honest!

Urban Agriculture in Long Beach at it's very best here at FarmLot 59 which is where Long Beach Local is based. The transformation from illegal dumping grounds (with a Kickstarter campaign June 30th 2010), to a present day Working Farm oasis is brilliant. The Educational aspect of this Farm, run thru Long Beach Local with the FarmLot Kids programs, is a shining star in all of LA County. And in the heart of our city, our own back yard! Farmer Sasha Kanno along with supporters like Farmer Andy Vaughan and so many others make this place one that you want to tell everyone about. Restaurants and businesses like Restauration, Taste, Roe Seafood, Panxa Cocina, Long Beach Creamery Chianina Steakhouse ( and many others) support the farm by buying fresh organic non GMO produce direct, which in turn makes the educational programs possible. Each growing season is planned out with local chefs, planted, tended and harvested with them in mind. It's the kind of community Love of fresh healthy food that makes Long Beach Local and FarmLot 59 an amazing place to visit and support.
