I am disappointed with the GB Remanufacturing diesel injector pump I bought at Rock Auto. I am installing my third pump in less than 2 years. In my opinion, the first pump was never assembled correctly and a bench flow test should have caught the problem. Idle speed would never be in range. I paid a shop 400 to dial it in, without any luck. The pump should never have been sent out of their shop. The second pump, and after only 1000 miles, the pump loses pressure during hot days, causing hard crank starts. Multiple shops tell me it is either the fuel pressure regulator in the pump, or the pumps internal tolerances are out of spec. Regardless, it is forcing me to replace my second pump. I guess I should be happy it has a 2 year warranty. No more GB Remanufacturing parts for me!
