I have lived in Lakewood Village for over 30 years and during that time, I have found the officers of the Long Beach Police Department - East Division to be highly professional, respectful, courteous and responsive. I understand their resources are spread thin over a wide area but in spite of this, they do an outstanding job! I am thankful and appreciate our police officers very much!

It's okay for city workers to talk on CELLPHONES and that's not a distraction but when civilians do it it's a fat ticket. This morning street sweeping didn't even clean the streets but were still passing out tickets talking on his cellphone. It took 3 years for LBPD to catch a convicted sex offender and give him 40 years for pimping my daughter out ... Long Beach has had a5 least 7 murders in the last 6 months what is really going on... Fake police

East Division serves and protects organized crime and its linchpins (mafioso's) here Lakewood Village. The recent murder of Fred Taft in broad daylight at Pan Am Park would not have occurred if Lakewood Village was under the jurisdiction of the Lakewood Sheriffs.

I've never had a run-in with these guys in which they did not present themselves in a professional manner. They are real people who are compassionate about protecting not only our city, but also those who live here. Bravo Zulu to the team!
