This terminal is hit or miss....It all depends on 3 things. Are their ingate computers working? Do they have chassis? Last but not least.. Is there a train being built? The last one is of concern because the train tracks cut the terminal in half. If your load or empty location is on the other side of the tracks from where you in gated than you will be waiting for up to an hour as they build the train onsite (dockside). Why they would do this during peak hours of operation I do not know. Maybe SSA terminal management will see this review and respond.

Restructured appt times for empty inbounds to make Trucking even more difficult then it already is. No leeway, no common sense, no sense of caring period!! All of the ports need to be fully automated. Especially this one.

very slow working terminal. when there is very little truckers going they slow down the entrance to make it appear that its busy when it really isn't. intimidation from security personal and disrespect. they put cones at the front of every entrance lane and cause huge lines that can cause accidents outside. finally, does everyone really need to go to lunch at the same time why dont they take turns to keep traffic to a minimun. plus the workers leave at 11:45am-1:15pm.
