We came here for a walk before our high tea time in Long Grove nearby. It’s surprisingly nice waking trail with very beautiful view of the river and the lake. The trail was pretty short for a 30-45 minutes walking/taking pictures. Would recommend people to come here for a short stop when visiting Long Grove.

My favorite one with excellent scenic view trail with walking and cycling trail. Best place for watching sunset, birds & nature. Parking will be tricky, the space is very limited. On summer evenings, all the spots are getting occupied quickly. So better reach soon.

Recently constructed as a stormwater management facility, this forest preserve has both paved and gravel trails, along with foot bridges throughout. There's plenty of interesting things to see, including lots of interesting wildlife. For now, the terrain is a little flat, but this preserve will fill out in time with mature trees and more prairie grasses and other greenery.

I love this place so much. A great example of civil engineering and recreation working together. Walking paths are wide enough for biking and walking. It looks great year round.
