My husband and I searched for some time for a good trainer in our area. I’m so grateful to have found Monica! Our puppy Ace boarded and trained with her for about 3 weeks. He knew some of the basic commands like sit, stay, come and leave it prior to this.. but Monica perfected it! She was kind enough to come over and stay a while to not only teach us everything she taught, but also to answer any questions we had. The key is of course to make sure we keep up the training once he came back. I’ve reached out to Monica several times after training with questions, and her responsiveness is amazing. It’s clear that she truly cares about Ace. We’ve asked Monica to watch Ace once since, and will continue to do so! Joann

I can’t say enough about the amazing training that our puppy Blu received while with Monica. We sent our 10 week old Cavapoo to Monica the day after we got him. He was with her for two weeks and we missed him like crazy. But it was SO worth it! Before we brought him to her, he was not potty trained, couldn’t follow basic commands, walk on a leash, and chewed up everything in sight. After returning home, he was very obedient and no longer did any of his previous naughty behaviors. He’s been home for almost two months now, and we’ve had absolutely no problems continuing the training with him. Monica did an amazing job with our puppy and there’s really no one else that we trust other than her. Blu is now an obedient puppy, but he still LOVES to run and play and is a little ball of energy. Monica is truly amazing!
We had a fantastic experience with Monica and the Fine Canine. As first time dog owners, Monica and her team were there for us every step of the way. She educated us about breeds, suggested a breeder, trained our dog and was available after training on an ongoing basis for questions and support. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful experience with Monica! We sent our puppy, Trey, to her for 3 weeks. He was pretty much a wild man when he left. Especially around our two children. When he returned he had improved in so many areas. New commands: sit, down, stay, roll over, and staying on his bed. He also improved his leash skills. Generally he was just much more calm and responsive. He almost completely eliminated his “mouthing/biting”. Monica and her staff were great and Trey was happy and safe. She spent over an hour with us upon his return to review what Trey had learned and continue the work. Monica put a solid foundation in place. At that point it’s up to the owner to keep up the training. We would recommend her services to everyone!!!!
Great Team of trainers! All her trainers for classes are skilled and knowledgeable. Monica does great work with individual dogs as well with groups of dogs! She has a good sense of what each dog needs and how to work with the individual dogs and their owners. My dog Elsa loves her and has developed a lot of skills from Monica and her team's help. I've learned a lot on how to handle her and other dogs as well. Monica and her trainers are also great in giving back to the community, including therapy team testing, supporting dog rescues and supporting other animal related charities.
