We Ordered at Vivitek 967 bulb. It came in a week, which was good. We installed it, and it worked...which was also good. But, then...our screen started to go dim after 3 months. unfortunately, the warranty is only 3 months...I guess because they only back up there product for 3 months because they know what a piece of junk it is. DO NOT BUY THESE LAMPS. The house cracked because of normal projector heat (we only run them for 2 hours on sunday and 1 hour on Wednesday and sunday night. There is no way it should have failed that soon. By comparison, I ordered a legit product from projector people for my other Vivitek, and i's bright, clear and working just fine. Stay away guys, it's cheap...but so is the product. Spend the money, buy the quality product.

I ordered two dimmable G8 bulbs and they arrive pretty quickly. I plugged one in and it operated perfectly. The second bulb not so much. the low setting was barely visible. Thinking of returning it.

I used the bulb on my ceiling fan lighting. I believe that it is too strong that it flickers when set in full strength but I realized to reduce the dimmer. It worked and love the natural brightness.
