A nice little park next to the water. There are paths that will take you down and across the beach spotted with helpful signposts. There's a war memorial, as well, that's very tastefully done. There are food trucks, usually, along the street nearby full of tasty local food that are well priced. There's typically a lot of traffic, and parking can be a bit of an issue, but it's worth the trouble.

Love what they have done with the place. Growing up in new haven and seeing all the changes through the years and 2 decades I been around have truly been inspirational and I'm proud to have been from new haven

A tiny waterfront preserve - a lot of which seems to become submerged during high tide - with more than one habitat. A path passes through it that offers walking beside the water, beyond the preserve, for quite a stretch.

Relaxing time for a quick walk and run. Usually no one around. Wish the town will do more and clean the area. People just throw their Starbucks cups into the beach. Shameful. Otherwise it beautiful site.
