They told my husband they no longer do any rental assistance. Before that they claimed they dont have any fubding for the past 4 months but several cgurches have said otherwise.One church has even contacted them and they were told otherwise just a couple weeks ago.
It's impossible to get any kind of help from them unless you're a drug addict that abuses your girlfriend. I'm disabled with a dog and my car is broken down and i have yet to see them for a shower or food box and it's been two months.I was by the warming shelter one day and they wouldn't even let me use the bathroom. They're not helping the homeless. They're helping SOME HOMELESS.
They are very disorganized, slow, do not call back when they say they will and thus far have wasted my time on numerous occasions and helped me with nothing! Not impressed!
My husband and I are disabled and really could not afford to move or pay all the associated fees to get into our apartment with our disability voucher and Shelia was really good at her job and they helped us pay move in costs. Excellent to deal with and knew the job well!
