Great place to start for some info on the area when you're new in town! Great place to orient grandsons to things of Nature! Will be making more stops in the future with the "grands"!

I have lived in Los Alamos a long time and just recently visited the nature center. I was very pleased and surprised and my GF and her son enjoyed it very much. Definitely recommend everyone to visit
Great Gift Shop, Museum, place to bring kids od all ages to explore!
Great place for birding. They have a viewing room that looks out into a large bird feeder area. Large variety of wild birds are up close. Good educational facility for young children. Canyon hiking trails.
Very nice place to visit, with great views. It was not busy, so we stayed a little longer than most people would have.
What a gem of a nature center! The volunteers and staff are wonderful and knowledgeable about the area. We have also used several of the kids' programs and have found them to be very well done.
