This was great for the family. It's hard to not give five stars when it's free :-) although it's not completely free, be very careful and make sure you pay for parking because the overzealous college parking people will give you a ticket. So it is 3. also it can get cold in there, at least in the winter time. It's open to the sky obviously :-) so bring a coat. also bring something to do, perhaps a book about the stars to read while you are waiting in line. basically they point the telescope at something cool to look at, they talk about it and tell interesting stories about it, then you all wait in line to get your turn to look. In the meantime I wish I would have had something to read, or I guess if you're an extrovert you can strike up an interesting conversation with the other people in line.

A wonderful place to visit on a Friday night, I must recommend you take a trip at least once here if you live in the area. The people who host the event are very knowledgeable, and are more than willing to discuss at length the instrumentation and physics involved in observing the universe.

Wish I could have gone but hey ho. Nice to have a place like that. None here in uk.

This is a small observatory with a very good telescope. Every Friday night, it's open to public. Great place to learn. On clear days, you can see many celestial objects.

Free access for everyone! Good place to stop by and take some pictures. Architecture outside and 8nside is amazing. Talk to someone to show you the telescope and look up to the stars
