A-List has worked on several projects for me over the last few years. I originally hired A-List for a fairly large restoration project. The project involved wall replacement with framing and drywall, stucco, exterior and interior painting, foundation reinforcement, a new exterior gate, fence repair, brick and tile walkways. Ben was the only contractor I interviewed who recommended that an engineer inspect the foundation as part of the evaluation process. This was an insurance project and Megan cheerfully worked through the process with my insurance company. All of the on-site workers were a pleasure to work with. They arrived early, were professional, and kept the work-site clean and organized…even the city inspector commented positively about A-List’s knowledge and organization. A-List Builders did a great job and their follow-up was excellent. They have since worked on several other projects and they always did a great job.

I used A-List Builders to remodel my kitchen, my wife found A-List builders online and we both liked the reviews. We decided to move forward with our project with them and are glad we did, they were great communicators letting us know what was going on with every step of the process, they kept our project in budget and worked on the kitchen within the timeframe we scheduled. I think they ended up finishing a week early. The kitchen came out amazing and we have already sent our neighbor to them for their bathroom remodel. No regrets, best choice for our home.

Most of the time, when folks talk about General Contractors, it's all about the horror stories; poor workmanship, incomplete jobs, fraud. We had the complete opposite experience with A-List. They were honest, clean, skilled, easy to work with, and entirely trustworthy. If something wasn't right, they'd often catch it before we did and there was no problem with getting the wrongs remedied right away. I am completely happy with the work they did for us. We used them to do a rebuild after our home experienced a flood in our upstairs bathroom that completely messed up the kitchen below. David, who was our main contact, had excellent ideas and suggestions in terms of design. He was friendly, easy going, and a pleasure to deal with. We also dealt with Ben and Sean, but David was our main person. I honestly have no complaints. We had a number of contractors come out and give us bids. Out of all of them, A-List felt the most up and up, and I was reassured by the positive feedback they received from other customers. I would hire them again, should the need ever come up. I appreciate their guidance and help. They also interfaced well with our insurance adjusters.

Like so many people in LA we bought a fixer upper and you know, love hopes all things. But over the last 5 years we have searched intently for a contractor we could trust. Someone we could talk to that would understand our ideas and add their wisdom to our projects. We have been lied to, ripped off and even had gold stolen from our home by one contractor himself while onsite. Doing renovations on our property is such intimate work and so often we end up giving access to our lives and homes to people that we never otherwise would and it usually doesn't go like we believed it would. Never has a contractor come on our property that affected us the way Ben & Megan from A-List Builders have. They immediately understood our needs and made brilliant suggestions. They answered every question, every call and it was such a difference dealing with them than any company we’ve ever hired before. They did not waste a minute of our time, nor did they try to get us to do more than we wanted. Their pricing is more than fair. They are so good at what they do and completely trustworthy and make hard things so much easier. As a resident of LA I just wanted to let as many people as possible know that it’s not impossible! There actually IS a really good General Contractor out there and a company that does all that it promises and more. Let’s support this great company in Sherman Oaks!

I used A-List Builders for my Bathroom Remodel and my bathroom is more beautiful now than I could have ever imagined... I met with Ben who gave me a free estimate for the job and knew right away that A-list Builders was the company I was going to use for the job. Their estimate was fair, and their communication throughout the entire process was fantastic. I always knew there was going to be someone else on the other line if I needed to get a hold of them for any reason. Their workers were true pros that did an immaculate job, excellent craftsmanship and very good at keeping the renovation area very clean. I absolutely love my new bathroom and have already recommended them to two of my friends. Truly a great experience!
