I have been here twice and I really like it. The first time we had a big group of ppl and kept adding on, but they did not give us any trouble, just kept adding chairs. They have great prices. Most of the burgers are 6 to 8, not including sides, and then if you order a burger and a side, select beers are 50 cents. They have a good selection of beer and milkshakes, and they have more than just burgers, like salads and fish & chips. I ordered the Kaliah burger today, which was delicious. I had the veggie sandwich last time, which was ok. I didn't really like the coleslaw because it was sweet and had chunks of fruit in it, but the fries were good. Service is quick and friendly. It's not a very big place, and it can get busy, but there is ample parking and TVs to watch sporting events. Great place to hang out and have a burger and drink!

Seen this place reposted ok Instagram, and the Plate looked so good I had to check it out. And guess what, their plate looked just like it did in the picture and tasted sooooooooo good! The gentleman that took our order knew his flavors and made the best recommendations! The gentleman that was passing out the orders was cool and gave us the whole rund down on the restaurant.... But by far the food was great! I got 1 medium and 1 hot. If you like hot food, go for 3. It was bomb! The slaw was perfect, and I could of sworn I tasted little hints of pineapple....but let's talk about the fries! My son loved them and the flavor was on point. My son doesnt like any seasonings but he chewed down the fries..... Will definitely be back for more!

Black Star Burger was a pleasant surprise for a burger joint. After all of the hype of the very mediocre, Shake Shack, Jimmy's, J Spot, etc., burger spots for me have usually been a non-factor. The bar has been set too high by Good Stuff Eatery, created by Chef Spike from Top Chef, and I have yet to meet any to rival. Enter Black Star. Firstly, the design and layout is fantastic. Wide open space and clean lines, against a slick black backdrop. The staff is amazing and the owners are actually cool people, Igor and his partner. There's a parking lot for only 10 so you don't have to go crazy driving around the block for 30 minutes. The food is delicious and the bathrooms are clean(which you how I feel about that if you read my reviews). The format for ordering and order pickups is very efficient and the space has a nice vibe. There will be an additional bar space, adjoined, which will open soon and stay open late. If you missed the soft opening on Nov 12, no worries- there will be a grand opening the first week of December (if I remember correctly). Me: I had the Classic Burger w/o pickles and sauce (eggs make me literally sick), the cheese balls, and the fries, and they were all very good. The burger actually meets the edge of the bun! Now, how many times have you gotten halfway through your sandwich, only to find yourself planning the bread:burger ratio of the remaining bites???? The coolest part: the gloves. The slick black gloves let you go in on that burger without all of the messy consequences- genius idea. So, yeah, if you're in LA, it's worth a special trip to make sure you get over there.

One of my favorite Teriyaki spots in the city. All their locations pretty much have the same great taste. Prices are good for the quality and quantity of the food your getting. The service is quick and staff is friendly. I recommend the beef and chicken in the box. Be sure to try the Bulldog as that's usually the locals favorite.
