The application process is redundant and antiquated. I would think a workforce center that is equip at helping applicants with job placement would encourage its applicants to be computer savvy and understand technology in order to better compete for jobs in 2021, starting with a DIGITAL version of the application that gets straight to the point and eliminates redundant questions. Most jobs that pay a decent living wage beyond service contractors would require you to have at least an entry to mid level understanding of computers. There are not many jobs that would require someone to freehand convert a mixed fraction into a decimal. The staff needs to be better supported so that they can do a better job at assisting potential applicants. Having lots of applicants is not an excuse to poorly perform your job.The front desk staff does not seem qualified as they do not have the best multitasking nor customer service skills. The elder lady front desk assistant instructed me to reformat my resume in order to be considered for a job, when in fact my last salary was at least triple the rate of her position (per Glassdoor.com) and I have been using the same resume throughout my career. This is simply to say, they need to consistently be in some sort of training to be able to help all types of applicants. Setting up a digital portal or website doesn't cost that much and would help eliminate the waste of time that comes with poor communication from the center. The facility should try to get money for newer computers and re evaluate their overall strategy, as due to Covid-19 all types of applicants are looking for jobs. It seems as if they are only prepared to assist the most destitute applicants I believe they are working (hard), but they can be doing a much better job. The government or someone in leadership needs to step in and bring them up to date to better service applicants.

Have been coming here for a few months to study for my high school diploma. It is called Five Keys program. They change teachers all the time. They just give me homework to take home. They also have helped me find jobs here. If you go here to study the desk are too small.
