Finally checked off this place on my LA food list!! The food and the service was great! Everyone was friendly. The staff was working hard but still made you feel welcomed. We will be back.

Cool place, friendly service. We tried their 4 course meal, the portions are pretty big and taste good. The black cod was too oily and I couldn't finish the plate. Other than that everything else was great!

One of my favorite spots in LA. Venue is beautiful, service is great and food is delicious. I highly recommend you try the lychee martini (several to be exact), shrimp tempura, thai chicken lettuce wraps (ask for extra lettuce), wagyu beef, lobster rice and the fortune cookie dessert. I tried the soy sizzling chicken this time but it was salty so I'd skip it next time. Make reservations at least the day before on Open Table or call in. Tao is as lively on the weekday as it is on the weekend.

fundamental DTLA is great. I love the soup and salmon. The service is wonderful, everyone is very polite and helpful. It may get very busy so is recommended. The is delicious and the atmoshere . I enjoy in the patio. I do wish the prices were lower, oh well.

Awesome ambience and lovely food. Loved the tasting menu, but it was more of a 4 course meal actually. The menu could clarify that part.
